A hand painted series of portraits of one of my best friends... Ever the fan of flair and flexibility, here she is in all her glory.
Painted a board for @project_loop and the #5050fortaylor benefit. This is my 2nd year to participate. So many amazing artists included this year, not the least of which was #WillieNelson, @tonyhawk, #michaelstipe, and my favs @melkadel, my man @kartwheelcraftsmanship, @michalovicwoodart, @richcali and about 100 more. As an art nerd, this is the look of stoked!
The amazing & beautiful Doub Hanshaw asked me to shoot a story for the Free People blog. I credit Doub with starting my career. She took a chance on me when I was very green. I had never shot for a company that large before and my first job out of the gate was the July 2010 catalogue with Ashley Smith. Not too bad. Any time she asks me to shoot for her, i jump at the chance. Mainly because i just love being around her. She's a rare gem. You can see the full shoot on their site so i thought i would post the ones that didn't make it...
